An ammunition drum arrangement 4 for supplying ammunition 14 to a large-calibre weapon 2 carried on a tank or armoured vehicle comprises two or more drums 5, 6 having axes of rotation 9, 10 parallel to one another. The ammunition is contained in seatings 13 in paths which overlap at a common overlap position 15. Each drum 5, 6 has an aperture 16, 17 such that, in an indexed position in which the position 15 lies within the aperture, the other drum can be positioned step by step to bring all the seatings 13 into the overlap position for linear transfer of the ammunition into the weapon. The drums 5, 6 are contained in a casing 19 pivotable about an axis 20 to a refilling position in which openings 22, 23 are aligned with a secondary drum 7. <IMAGE>
