PURPOSE:To reduce an overall thickness of a watch without lowering the strength of front glass and liq. ctystal display device (LCD), by forming both upper plate glass and the front glass performing a liq. crystal display in a body for LCD that constitutes a part of a liquid crystal display module. CONSTITUTION:The wristwatch 16 incorporates a liq. crystal display module 18 in the case 17. For the module 18, the LSI21 is attached on a substrate 20 fixed to the mold block 19 formed in thin thickness, and the battery 22 is supported. The print circuit 23 is formed on the upper surface of the substrate 20, and the LCD25 is supported by the zebra connector 24. At the same time, an electrical connection is secured. In such constitution, the upper plate glass 26 is formed in a body with the front glass 31 to secure a sufficient strength for the external force. At the same time, the space in the thickness direction can be reduced to a thickness equivalent to one sheet of front glass. |
