PURPOSE:To produce lead-containing metallic oxide fine powder containing no halogen, by reacting a solution or suspension containing a metal to constitute a Pb-containing oxide and a halogen with a precipitant into a slurry state and treating the prepared precipitate with hot water. CONSTITUTION:A hydrochloric acid solution or a hydrofluoric acid dissolving and containing Pb and Zr, Ti, Mg, Sn, Zn, Al, Fe, Co, Ni or another metal or suspension of fine powder of oxide, carbonate or hydroxide of the above- mentioned metal is blended with ammonia water, ammonium carbonate, methylamine, etc., as a precipitant and stirred into a slurry state. A supernatant liquid is separated from the slurry by filtration, etc., the precipitate is treated with steam at 200-1,200 deg.C treated with hot water and remaining a halogenated gas of Cl, F, etc., is removed. Finally, the precipitate is calcined at 600-1,000 deg.C to produce high-purity lead-containing metallic oxide fine powder containing no halogen. |
