A circuit for controlling the electrical equipment of a road vehicle employs a central logic unit (11) with inputs (E1 to Em) from individual switches (S1 to Sm) and outputs (A1 to Am) connected via a cable distribution board (10) to the various loads (V1 to Vm). The logic unit (11) processes incoming signals to a predetermined stored programme (12,11) and closes the appropriate outgoing circuits (A1 to Am) using B1 = stable electronic switching. Increased capability for dealing with additional loads and route changes employs plugboards (not shown) integral with switches (S1 to Sm) with binary code/decode facility in unit (11). USE/ADVANTAGE - Original cable runs retained. Permits convenient change of switching sequence. Provides centralised switching and programming panel.
