Vehicle rear-wheel suspension - incorporates linkage designed to give steering movement of wheel

The wheel suspension is for the rear axle of a vehicle. It has at least one wheel guide member connected to a transmission union driving a wheel, which can be swivelled about a transverse axis. The transmission union is so coupled with the wheel guide element or linkage arm (3) that a swivellilng movement of the transmission, i.e. rear axle drive (11), creates a steering movement of the wheel (1). USE/ADVANTAGE - Suspension system which improves the drive characteristics of a vehicle esp. with changes in load on negotiating a curve.
