A carrier bag of thermoplastic foil, specially for carrying potted plants, forms the bag (3) by a front wall (1) and a rear wall (2). A carrier handle (4) has an O-shaped one-sided opening (5). Both walls are joined on the sides (7,8) and bottom (6) by a seamless fold (9). The carrier grip is arranged on one side in the crest (12) of a sinusoidal curve.
