PURPOSE:To improve the clearness of an image by incorporating a specified polymer coupler latex forming a magenta dye image by coupling with the oxidized product of an aromatic primary amine as a developing agent into a color photographic sensitive silver halide material. CONSTITUTION:A color photographic sensitive silver halide material of this invention contains a (co)polymer coupler latex forming a magenta dye image in a silver halide emulsion layer. The latex can form a dye by coupling with the oxidized product of an aromatic primary amine as a developing agent. The latex has repeating units derived from a monomer represented by formula I or II(where R1 is H, 1-4C lower alkyl or Cl; each of R2 and R3 is H, hydroxyl, alkyl, aryl or the like; X is H, halogen or a group eliminable by coupling; A is -NHCO-, -OCO- or phenylene; B is alkylene, aralkylene or the like; Y is -O-, -NH-, -S- or the like; and each of m and n is 0 or 1). |
