PURPOSE:To reduce the number of safety switches to one half, decrease an occupancy space for exclusive use and simplify electrical fittings by shutting off a power supply line using a single safety switch during the opening of an enclosure cover and a door. CONSTITUTION:An enclosure cover 44 is opened by its rotation centered around a hinge 43 when the internal equipment of a main device system is checked for maintenance. As a result of this opening action, a protrusion 44a on the enclosure cover 44 becomes remote from an actuator 47. Consequently, an operating piece 40a is pushed upward by the energizing force of a spring 40b, resulting in a safety switch 40 being turned OFF. Therefore, a power supply line 41 is shut off. In addition, a door 46 is removed during the replacement of an ink ribbon 14. Subsequently, a protrusion 46a of the door 46 becomes disengaged from the bottom of a bracket 39, and the bracket 39 descends by its own weight. The safety switch 40 in turn becomes distant from the protrusion 44a of the enclosure cover 44, and at the same time, the operating piece 40a is pushed upward by the energizing force of the safety switch 40 to turn the switch 40 OFF. Finally the power supply line 41 is shut OFF. |
