PURPOSE:To perform stable machining at a high speed without causing the disconnection of a wire, by forming the point end part of a machining fluid jetting nozzle to a step differenced shape long and narrow further with a cylindrical shape not interfering with a work and jetting plenty of the machining fluid to a machining gap. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 5a is formed such that its point end part is long and narrow further with a cylindrical shape not to interfere with a work 2a and a diameter D of the point end is arranged to B (difference between the diameter and machining locus in the lateral direction)>D/2. A die 3a is arranged in the nozzle 5a, and the extreme point end is connected by a screw to a die point end part 12 in which a guide 4a and a power feed contactor 9a are arranged. The nozzle 5a is set to an upper part of the work 2a with a step difference, and the center of the nozzle is set in a position where B>D/2. Machining fluid 6 flows in from a machining fluid induction pipe 10 through a die holder 7, and one flows in through the outside of the die 3a and is jetted to a machined part C along the inside of the nozzle 5a to remove an electric discharge machining chip in a gap between a electrode wire 1 and the work 2a, while the machining fluid flowing in through the center cools the contactor 9a. |
