发明名称 LOCKUP CLUTCH CONTROL DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
摘要 PURPOSE:To maintain a proper engagement force even in the event of secular change or variation in the oil temp. by altering the set value for oil pressure to be applied to a lockup clutch when the torque transmitting characteristic of the lockup clutch has changed. CONSTITUTION:An ECU 31 is fed with signals from a throttle opening sensor 32 and a car speed sensor 33, and when the condition is specified operating, the duty ratio to a duty solenoid valve 29 is set so that the engagement force of a lockup clutch 8 is adjusted by a lockup control means 35 to a value smaller than in the complete engaging condition and larger than in full disengaged condition, and now a specified oil pressure is supplied to the lockup clutch 8 through a lockup valve 14. Therein the transmitting characteristic of this lockup clutch 8 is sensed by a strain sensor 34, and according to the output therefrom a setting oil pressure altering means 39 alters the duty ratio to be impressed on the duty solenoid valve 29. Thus the engagement force can be adjusted properly even in the event of secular change of the lockup clutch, variation of the oil temp., etc.
