PURPOSE:To allow users to estimate necessary waiting times, by giving the users previous guide immediately when an estimated arrival time is short, and giving them the guide after passing over a pre-determined time when it is longer. CONSTITUTION:When a hall button HB is pressed for calling an elevator, a group-control unit 1 calculates estimated arrival times for respective elevators to arrive to the hall so as to propose an elevator which has the shortest estimated arrival time as its candidate service elevator. An elevator number controller 2 compares the estimated arrival time with the first pre-determined time, and when the estimated arrival time is shorter than the first pre-determined time, it determines the candidate elevator as a service elevator and gives previous guide immediately by means of a service lamp 4 on the floor and a hall information 5. When the estimated time is longer than the first pre-determined time, the controller, reserves the previous guide, checks the candidate one by one and, after the second pre-determined time passes over it determines a service elevator to give the previous guide. Thus it is possible for users to wait with ease for a service elevator. |
