The invention serves for supplementing internal types of control, such as position control or pull control in power-lift control systems for motor vehicles, especially farm tractors, by an external control. A connection is made on the transmission elements between the internal pulse generators and the control valve, so that subsequent incorporation is possible in a simple way and the internal controls can be used without disturbance when the external control is not in use. External controls are, for example, the maintenance of the ground clearance of mounted appliances, such as beet lifters or mowing machines, random control as remote operation or the control of the fifth-wheel weight of a mounted appliance by recording the pressure in a working cylinder.
