摘要 In the method for maintaining a chemical reaction process in a reactor (1) in which dissolved constituents react with one another under high pressure (p1) in a carrier liquid, the carrier liquid containing the reacted constituents is drained off from the reactor and used as the driving agent of two pressure converters (6, 48) from which carrier liquid at the pressure (p1) and containing dissolved reaction constituents is fed to the reactor via pipelines (19, 49) in order to replace the carrier liquid drained from the reactor. For the start-up phase of the reactor (1), an oil-hydraulically driven pressure converter (2) is used whose plungers feed carrier liquid containing reaction constituents into the reactor (1) via a pipe (3). The pressure converters (6 and 48) have differential pistons for driving the plungers. The carrier liquid which is fed to the pressure converter (48) as drive medium has a pressure (p2) which is reduced in relation to the effective areas of the differential pistons of the pressure converter (6) and which is applied to the large effective areas of the differential pistons of the pressure converter (48). Arranged between the pressure converters (6 and 48) is a degassing container (46). Furthermore, a degassing container (52) is connected downstream of the pressure converter (48). <IMAGE>
