PURPOSE:To correct the reduction in a cancel effect based on a distance difference by adjusting the arrival time of a crosstalk component and a cancel signal and adjusting the signal level when a listener is moved from the center position. CONSTITUTION:When the listener moves from the center position, the delay time of delay circuits 6A, 9A is switched in response to the position of the listener to match the arrival time of a crosstalk component and a cancel signal reaching each ear of the listener. Moreover, the adjustment level of sound volume level adjustment circuits 13,14 is switched to adjust the level of the cancel signal so that the sound level of the crosstalk component reaching each ear of the listener and the sound volume level of the cancel signal are the same. Thus, the reduction in the cancel effect based on the distance difference due to the movement of the listener is corrected and the spread effect of sound at each ear is sufficiently obtained. |
