PURPOSE:To prepare a pen point made of ceramic without requiring any configurational preparation for an ink passage itself by forming a hole in an object to be treated so that volumetric contraction advances toward the surface of the object to be treated in heat treatment and applying post-treatment to said object so as to form said hole into the ink passage. CONSTITUTION:Oxide such as alumina is used as a sintered powder and polyethylene is used as a shaping material and other material is used if necessary. These materials are compounded and kneaded to be formed into an appropriate shape. Next, heat treatment is applied to the obtained one. At this time, when temp. difference is positively imparted to the inside and outside of the object to be treated, the surface part of the object to be treated becomes a calcinating stage but the shaping material still remains therein and the object to be treated becomes a state possible in volumetric contraction. As a result, when the whole of the object to be treated becomes the calcination stage finally, a hole is firmed in the object to be treated. This hole is put to practical use as an ink passage. In order to form the hole generated in the object to be treated into the ink passage after sintering treatment, cutting, grinding or other processing is applied to form a pen point. |
