<p>PURPOSE: To increase image sensing speed by incorporating 4-nitro-2-methyl-4- diethamolaminoazobenzene into a transparent plastic substrate. CONSTITUTION: This optical element is made of a properly treated optical transparent plastic substrate. This substrate is used as a lens of a certain diopter or an ordinary ophthalmic lens and may be used as a protective mask for protecting the face of a user or a transparent screen such as a filter for a camera. When 4-nitro-2-methyl-4-diethanolaminoazobene is incorporated into the substrate, image sensing speed is increased and resolving power can be improved.</p> |
