PURPOSE:To provide a titled inexpensive soft brazing of a low m.p. which is obtd. by adding specific amts. of Ag and Zn to main constituting elements consisting of specific compsn. ratios of Bi and Pb, can obtain a joined joint having high strength. CONSTITUTION:1-3% Ag and 0.5-2% Zn are added to main constituting elements of 51-60wt% Bi and 50-30% Pb and, if necessary, <=3% metals of >=1 kinds among Sn, Cu, Ni, Sb, Au, Pd and Cd are added thereto, whereby a soft brazing material for joining Cu-base and Fe-base materials is obtd. In the stage of joining the Cu-base and Fe-base materials by using said soft brazing material, the Ag and Zn alloy to the materials to be joined and form a thin alloy layer of a high m.p. The Bi-Pb of a low m.p. having low strength is discharged from the joint surfaces by the pressurization whereby the joint having high heat resistance and high strength is obtd. |
