PURPOSE:To obtain a maintenance-free air conditioner unit most suitable for cooling a limited space by an arrangement comprising a compressor, a condenser adapted to cool a refrigerant by the water in a cistern, a pressure reducing means, an evaporator and a fan for sending out the air cooled by the evaporator. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner unit for use in a toilet connected to a flush toilet bowl which is arranged to be cleaned by the water discharged from a cistern 1 is provided with a compressor 8, a condenser 9 adapted to cool a refrigerant by the water in a cistern 1, a pressure reducing means 10, an evaporator 7 and a fan 16 for sending out the air cooled by the evaporator. In brief, the air cooled by the evaporator 7 can be sent by the rotaton of the fan 16 through blowoff ports 6 into the toilet room to cool it. Whilst, the condenser 9 is deprived of the heat generated therein by the sensible heat and the latent heat of vaporization of the water within the cistern 1. Further, the drain which accumulates in a drain trap 18 is discharged through a drain pipe 20 into the toilet bowl, since it is undesirable to return the drain into the water 4 in the cistern 1 because of its high temperature. |
