PURPOSE:To provide a heating cooker having multi-function and an improved added value by a construction wherein the cooker is rendered operative in accordance with the operation mode recorded in an information storage medium. CONSTITUTION:An operating unit 3 in the front part of the heating cooker body 1 has an information storage medium insertion port 4 and a CRT display unit 2 for displaying various kinds of information. The arrangement is made such that when an information storage medium 5 of a disket configuration is put into the insertion port 4, any of operation modes such as, for example, a cooking mode, a domestic account-book mode, a telephone directory mode, a personal computor mode, etc., is obtained according to the kind of the information stored in the medium 5, and the mode then rendered operative is automatically displayed on part of the CRT display unit 2. Such an arrangement enables an electronic oven to possess functions other than the cooking mode, thereby enhancing the added value of the cooker. |
