PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a lathe by arranging a feedback feeder in parallel with a rod feeding section which throwing/retreating the feed bar from above. CONSTITUTION:The rod material 3 thrown in from a rod member stocker 1 onto the rod member guide is fed through a feed roller device 5 into a lathe sequentially. The work is dimensioned by a fixed length stopper then worked while being held by a chuck 7 and carried through an unload 9 to the conveyor 10. The residual member is stored through a residual member catcher 11 in a residual bearing 12. When the rod 3 is removed from the stocker 1, the feed bar 4 is thrown in by a feed bar feeder 2 and carried similarly with the rod member 3. The feed bar 4 is stopped immediately before the chuck 7 by a feed bar clamp 6. At the same time, the feed roller 5 will rotate reversely and returned to the original position. |
