PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of jamming caused by misoperation at the time of accessing a housing space by providing a means for controlling a fixing means lest a door covering a conveyance path part and a housing part should be opened when a conveying means is driven. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device is provided with the fixing means 23 for fixing the door 18 which covers the conveyance path part 15 equipped with the conveying means 15a and the housing part 16 housing things so that the door 18 may not be opened and a control means for controlling the fixing means 23 lest the door 18 should be opened when the conveying means 15a is driven. Therefore, the conveying means 15a is prevented from being stopped, which occurs when an operator inadvertently opens the door 18 covering the conveyance path part 15. Thus, the occurrence of jamming caused by the misoperation is prevented and a space in the image forming device is positively utilized as the housing space. |
