PURPOSE: To stably and highly precisely control the moving speed of a courage by detecting a physical characteristic to show the variation of the length of a belt or a cable stretched between a motor and the carriage, and adjusting a target speed signal so as to reduce the difference of the target speed and the actual speed of an object in accordance with the detected physical characteristic. CONSTITUTION: When the carriage 12 moves reciprocatively on a bar-shaped member 14, an optical encoder 36 detects the movement of the carriage, and a generated pulse train is converted into an analog signal by a frequently- voltage converter, and tit is processed in a motor drive circuit 38 together with a position signal. The target speed signal is outputted from the motor drive circuit 38, and is inputted to the motor 18 through a conductor 40, and controls the speed of the carriage moving reciprocatively on the bar-shaped member 14. A feedback circuit adjusts the level of the target speed signal, and reduces the deviation of the actual speed from the target speed. Thus, a very stable operation system which can control the carriage directly owing to both the effects of an internal and an external servo loops can be obtained. |
