PURPOSE:To obtain the performance sounds matched with the player's actual performance sensation by setting musical tone characteristics by using the latest touch information generated when keys are pushed down. CONSTITUTION:The ON/OFF information and touch information are detected from the hammers interlocked to the keys of a keyboard circuit 22 for each of the respective keys and the processing of various kinds for the purpose of generating the musical tones is executed in a CPU 24. The 1st musical tone is generated according to the musical tone characteristics corresponding to the touch information when the 1st ON information is generated with the strong push of the key. The 1st musical tone is attenuated when the OFF information is generated with the reaction displacement of the hammer from the 1st to the 2nd direction. The 2nd musical tone is generated when the ON information is generated with the reaction displacement of the hammer from the 2nd to the 1st direction. The musical tone characteristic of the 2nd musical tone is set according to the 1st touch information corresponding to the strong push of the key. The 2nd musical tone is attenuated when the 2nd OFF information is generated. The actual key touch feel is reflected faithfully in the musical tones in this way. |
