PURPOSE:To improve security and aesthetic characteristics by mounting glossy members to the machine side position for working printed images corresponding to the positions where the patterns for registration pass, detecting the positions of the patterns for registration, determining printing positions and forming the printed images on hologram images. CONSTITUTION:The patterns 5a, 5b for registration of the prescribed shapes consisting of the holograms are formed simultaneously with the formation of the holograms 4 by an embossing treatment on a hologram forming layer 3. Vapor deposited foil 9 which is the glossy member is stuck to the lower positions corresponding to the positions where the patterns 5a, 5b for registration pass, i.e. the strip plate of the machine for working the printed images. The printing positions are determined by detecting the positions of the patterns 5a, 5b for registration and the desired printed images (characters, figures, etc.) 10 are formed by printing ink on the holograms 4. The security and aesthetic characteristics are improved in this way and the formation of the printed images in tuning with the hologram images is possible.
