PURPOSE:To form a suprerior color proof by the CPC system electrophotography, by adding a sensitizer having a prescribed absorption characteristics to a photosensitive layer consisting mainly of a white photosensitve pigment and a binder. CONSTITUTION:TiO2 for use in electrophotography is obtained by doping hydrated titanium oxide obtained by heat hydrolyzing titanium tetrachloride, with 1mol% ZnO. A mixture of 8g TiO2, 6.4g acrylic binder. 0.5ml p-tert-butylcatechol (10g reagent/liter xylene soln.) as a sensitizer having >=750nm main absorption wavelengths, 0.3ml zinc naphthenate (soln. contg. 8% zinc), and 6.7ml are shaked together with about 40g glass beads, and paper having a vapor deposited Al layer is coated with this soln. and dried to obtain a photosensitive material. This material is subjected to an image forming process including charging, exposing, and developing steps to obtain a good 4-color proof image. |
