The invention relates to a brush comprising a shank (10) which over a portion (11) of the length thereof, preferably over an end portion, is provided with bristles by this portion comprising a velour finished surface having fibers which are attached to the shank and stand on end projecting from the surface of the shank. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such a brush wherein an end portion of the shank is dipped in glue and fibers then are applied by being adhered to the shank by means of an electrostatic field so as to be attached to the end portion coated with glue. |
