PURPOSE:To prevent inter-distances between gaps into each of which each of fins are inserted by projecting a passage hole in a stank cylindrically, fitting the other adjacent passage hole over said projected passage hole, and providing and projecting spacers around the tanks to bring both tanks into contact with each other at a predetermined position. CONSTITUTION:A laminating evaporator 1 includes heat exchanging elements 2 and fins 3 laminated alternately, and further includes a refrigerant inlet pipe 6 and an outlet pipe 7 provided on the lower portion of an end plate 4. Each element 2 is adapted to be laminated by abutting both adjacent tanks 14, 15 each other i.e., by fitting passage holes 9, 10 to each other and bring spacers 11A-11C. Here inter-distances of gaps 20, into each of which each of fins 3 is inserted, can be arranged uniformly to a predetermined distance E. Further, since the passage holes in tanks are formed cylindrically and fitted to each other, flow passage resistance can be restricted to a minimum to improve thermal efficiency.
