A transport system for transport of at least one object between two loading and unloading places situated at distance from each other. The transport is done in a vehicle (9) along and hanging under a guideway (1), which at least at one of the two loading and unloading places is situated at a vertical distance from the ground level (2) at which this one of the loading and unloading places is situated. The vehicle (9) is connected with the guideway (1) through an expandable device (3) which is able to move the vehicle between the vertical level of the guideway and the ground level. To increase the flexibility and diminish the need for a large ground surface area a turning device (5) is installed to turn the vehicle (9) around vertical and horizontal axes (6, 7). |
