PURPOSE:To hold and fix a conductor rod in a slot by providing heating or cooling means at the slot of a rotor core or at one of a rotor conductor rod, then inserting the rod into the slot, and producing clamping margin between both at the ambient temperature. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of slots 2 are formed on the outer periphery of a rotor core 1, and cores 1 of necessary number of sheets are laminated on a rotor shaft. Then, a rotor conductor rod 3 which has function of secondary conductor is inserted into the part of the slot 2, and both ends of the rod 3 are electrically and mechanically coupled to be shortcircuited. The width of the slot 2 at the ambient temperature is represented by (a), the height is represented by (b), and them after heating are respectively represented by (A) and (B). The width of the rod 3 is represented by W at the ambient temperature, and the height is represented by h. When the core 1 has positive thermal expansion, the relationship of a<W<A and b<h<B are set. Thus, the relationship between the slot 2 and the conductor 3 in dimension is composed to have clamping margin by heating or cooling, and the rod is readily inserted and fixed in high accuracy. |
