<p>PURPOSE:To reduce variation in motor rotational force by detecting a pulse-off condition by a motor terminal voltage detector circuit to switch the detected signal over to a pulse-on signal, in a device in which driving current to a motor is controlled in accordance with pulse-on and pulse-off signals. CONSTITUTION:The steering torque and steering direction of a steering wheel 1 are detected by a torque sensor 3 and the detected steering torque is amplified in an amplifier circuit 24 before it is input into a modulation circuit 27. On the other hand, the discriminant result of the steering direction in a direction discriminant circuit 22 is input into the modulation circuit 27. The pulse instruction of FET gate equivalent opening for the steering direction of the steering wheel 1 is output from these input signals in the modulation circuit 27 to drive and control a dc motor 8 for auxiliary steering force generation through a motor driving circuit 30. In this case, a pulse-off condition to be supplied to the motor driving circuit 30 is detected by a motor 8 terminal voltage detector circuit 41, and the detected signal is fed back to switch it over to a pulse-on signal.</p> |
