PURPOSE:To enable to equip with the automatic clutch by a slight remodeling of a shaft by a structure wherein the shaft is divided into a drive shaft and an axle shaft, between both of which the clutch part actuating with the relative rotation of said divided shafts is provided. CONSTITUTION:When a shaft lever is operated in order to be changed-over into four wheel drive, a drive gear 16 connected to a rear drive axle 4a and a slide gear 19 are rotated. The slide gear 19, which shifts rightward in the axis direction due to the relative rotation between a cam 22 and the slide gear 19, comes into engagement with a gear 32, resulting in obtaining four wheel drive. Next, when the shaft lever is operated in order to be changed-over into two wheel drive and the vehicle is moved in reverse direction, a rear driven axle 4b is rotated in reverse direction and the slide gear 19 and the drive gear 14 are also rotated in the same direction as the axle 4b. The slide gear 19, which shifts leftward in the axis direction due to the relative rotation between said two gears, comes into disengagement from the gear 32, resulting in obtaining two wheel drive. |
