Process and device for the preparation of a sealing coat

The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a sealing coat which permits depositing an adhesive material on a bituminous support whilst overcoming the problems of irregularities of this bituminous support. The process consists in depositing a thermoplastic adhesive material on a temporary plane support having low affinity to the said material and then transferring the said temporary support onto a final bituminous support. This process of preparation of sealing coats makes it possible to obtain coatings having an adhesive zone covered with a peelable protection, allowing the coatings to be fixed firmly to a substrate.
