<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a lens high in refractive index and surface strength, by injecting a copolymer of a mixture of an aromatic polyvalent (meth)acrylate monomer and an aliphatic (meth)acrylate monomer into a mold for a lens. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic polyvalent (meth)acrylate that is obtained by the ester addition of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid to the aromatic polyhydroxyl compound that is obtained by the addition of an alkylene oxide to a polyvalent phenol compound and an aliphatic polyvalent (meth)acrylate monomer are mixed uniformly. After, if required, a photosensitizer is added thereto, is injected into a mold for a lens and irradiated with an activating energy ray to be cured, and the thus formed intended lens is removed. The period of the irradiation will depend on the type of the activating energy ray, the used temperature, the used atmosphere, etc. and 2sec-10min will be enough.</p> |
