PURPOSE:To make the clearance between a pipe and heating device constant and to heat the pipe uniformly by making the heating device holding mechanism in a metallic pipe bending device rotatable centering around the clamping part of the pipe or its vicinity and by constituting so as to hold always a parallel state to the pipe. CONSTITUTION:A heating device holding mechanism 15 is composed of the boom box 17 which is rotatable centering around the clam part or its vicinity of the pipe 1 by a clamp rack 9, the boom 18 held slidably to the boom box 17, the arm 19 to hold a heating device 3 at the tip of the boom 18, the profiling device 20 to keep the clearance between the heating device 3 and nipe 1 constant during the movement along the pipe 1 of the heating device 3 and the driving device 22 to move the boom 18 for the boom box 17. |
