PURPOSE:To prepare the titled resin sheet having specific expansion ratio, thickness and folding endurance, and suitable for the manufacturing of a food container having excellent apperarance and heat insulation, by extruding a mixture of a rubber-containing styrene resin and a chemical foaming agent in the form of a sheet. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin sheet having an expansion ratio of 1.1-2.1, thickness of 0.1-1mm. and folding endurance (accordance to JIS P8115) of >=5, is prepared by adding a chemical foaming agent (e.g. propane) to a styrene resin (e.g. copolymer of polystyrene and alpha-mehylstyrene) containing 1.5-8wt% rubber component (e.g. natural crepe rubber) and extruding the composition in the form of a sheet preferably with a T-die. |
