PURPOSE:To manufacture rectangular parallelopiped containers from a tube under a high speed and make the whole equipment small by a method wherein a rotor for a lateral sealing device, a rotor for a cutting device, a rotor for a change-direction device and first and second rotors for a container forming device, which rotate synchronously with each other, are equipped. CONSTITUTION:A tube 2 is formed into a prescribed shape by an inside gripping measure 8 and outside gripping measure 9 and is pinched in the direction which makes right angles to the longitudinal direction, and is heat-welded, and then a lateral sealing 5a is performed. Linked containers 5A are stored in a pocket 104, and are cut by a rotary cutter 102 and separated into individual containers 5B. From a change- direction device 200, the lateral sealed parts 5a position in and out of the radial direction of a rotor 301. The radial direction outer surface of the container 5B, which is stored in a storage part 302, is supported squarely by the radial direction inner surface of the container 5B, the front and rear surfaces in the transfer direction and both side surfaces in the transfer direction. Under this condition, the container 5B is pressed inward in the radial direction by a pressing member 305 which is provided on rotor 304, and is press-formed into a rectangular parallelopiped. Respective bonding surfaces on inner and outer flaps 5d which protrude in the axial direction of the rotor 301 are bonded to complete a container 5C. |
