PURPOSE:To press-form a container into a rectangular parallelopiped assuredly by a method wherein a storage part made of a rectangular parallelopiped space of which outer side is open is formed by a supporting member and respectively one pair of first pinching members and second pinching members, and the lateral sealed part is stored assuredly in a clearance which is provided on the supporting member. CONSTITUTION:A cam member 330 which is provided on a supporting block 329 is lowered, and front and back two pairs of pinching members 323, 324 are closed by a spring 326, and a container 5B is press-formed into a shape with triangular profile. A lateral sealed part 5a is accurately positioned at the central part of the front and back two pairs of pinching members 323, 324. By making a rear supporting member 312 rock slightly forward by a prescribed angle theta by a cam member 317, the lateral sealed part 5a is made to face a clearance l on a pressing member 305. When the lateral sealed part 5a enters in the clearance l on the pressing member 305, right and left one pair of lateral pinching members are closed to pinch both side surfaces of the container 5B by a cam member. At the same time, the cam member 330 ascends to the original position, and the front and back two pairs of pinching members 323, 324 are opened, and the lower surface of the pressing member 305 presses the outer surface of the container 5B. Therefore, the container 5B is formed into a rectangular parallelopiped accurately.
