PURPOSE: To obtain an ultrahigh gain by devising the circuit so as to have the gain of the amplifier as a function of a product among a 1st mutual conductance, a 2nd mutual conductance, an amplifier output impedance and a 2nd output impedance. CONSTITUTION: A 1st mutual conductance amplifier 10 is connected to lines so as to receive a noninverting input + and an inverting input -. A negative output 14 of the 1st mutual conductance amplifier 10 is connected to an output 20 of the amplifier circuit and connected to a noninverting input of the 2nd mutual conductance amplifier 12. A positive output 16 of the 1st mutual conductance amplifier 10 is connected to an internal negative feedback output of the 2nd mutual conductance amplifier 12 and to an inverting input of the 2nd mutual conductance amplifier 12. Thus, the gain of the entire amplifier circuit is expressed as a function of 1st mutual conductance×2nd mutual conductance×amplifier output impedance×intermediate output impedance. Thus, the mutual conductance amplifier with an ultrahigh gain is obtained.
