METHOD FOR COATING METALLIC BASE MATERIAL BY USING PRIMER POWDER AND WITH SURFACE FILM APPLIED THROUGH IMMERSION,AND USING PRIMER POWDER, AND OBTAINED COMPOSITE MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To eliminate environment contamination at the time of surface coating by coating a metal substrate with a layer consisting of adhesive primer powder based on a thermosetting resin and heating the substrate, then immersing the substrate into a fluidized bed and coating the surface thereof with surface coating powder. CONSTITUTION: One or more thermosetting resin layers are formed on the metal substrate by applying powder coating technique using the adhesive primer powder based on the thermosetting resin. After the substrate formed with the resin layers is heated, the substrate is immersed into the fluidized bed and the surface thereof is coated with the coating powder, by which the composite material is produced. The adhesive primer which is the thermosetting resin is adequately an adhesive primer powder compsn. based on an epoxy resin and a hardener for the epoxy resin. The more adequate examples of the surface coating includes polyamide, polyether ester amide or the like. The heating temp. of the substrate after the formation of the thermosetting resin layers is adequately about 380 deg.C.
