Described is a tablet dispenser with a tubular protective casing (1) containing, in a guide shaft (10), longitudinal guides (31, 32) for tablets (5) inserted as column-like stacks. The casing (1) also contains a spring-loaded pusher ram (9) for one end of the stack of tablets. The ram (9) conveys the tablets (5) along the longitudinal guides (31, 32) to an ejector (3) which is fitted in the region of the other end of the stack and which pushes the tablets (5) guided by lateral guides (30) in this region individually out at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the stack. To simplify assembly and increase reliability and safety of operation, the spring (6) acting on the ram (9) is housed in a spring shaft (11) next to the guide shaft (10) holding the tablets (5) and acts on a guide piece (7) guided in the spring shaft (11), the guide piece (7) carrying the ram (9) on an arm (8) which projects out through a longitudinal slot (13) linking the two shafts (10, 11). The stack of tablets is contained in a magazine (4) which is also designed as part of the tablet packaging and is inserted into the tablet guide shaft (10) in such a way that it can be replaced. The magazine (4) has openings (29) to allow the ram (9) to pass through, a guide slot (27) for the ram carrier arm (8) and ejection openings for the tablets. |
