<p>Process and medium for treating liquids, particularly aqueous liquids, with a view to eliminating undesirable substances in particular, such as manganese and uranium and radium ions, by percolation of the liquid on said means, which is a compound resulting fro m the insertion of amorphous manganese oxides into the network of a strong resin, an anion exchanger, with a self-reducing property, thus reducing the permanganate ion (MnO4) for which it has a great affinity.</p> |
