Diagnostic system for installations with special operating conditions - uses neural network model for efficient, objective diagnosis

The diagnostic system contains a neural network model which learns information patterns concerning vibrations produced during special installation operating conditions. The system also contains vibration data entry and result output devices. An output signal corresp. to the results of the learning process is generated and output to the user as a diagnostic result when information about the vibration caused by operating the installation is fed in. USE/ADVANTAGE - For use in objectively diagnosing operating states of various installation types with special operating conditions characterised by vibrations. Time consuming diagnostic table construction and expensive expertise are eliminated.
