<p>Naphthalene compounds represented by general formula (I), and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, useful as a phospholipase A2 inhibitor and an antiinflammatory agent; wherein R1 represents hydrogen, lower alkyl or amino-protective group; R?2 and R3¿ represent each hydrogen or halogen; and A represents lower alkylene. The invention further discloses a method of producing these compounds, pharmaceutical preparations containing the same as the active ingredient, and a method of preventing and/or treating inflammatory diseases of man and animal.</p> |
