The shutter control has pivoted shutter elements controlled by a linearly displaced tension rod (2) which is coupled to an electric operating drive. The coupling mechanism comprises a cog rack (3) attached to the tension rod (2) and a cog wheel (5) rotated by the electric drive motor (4), with the cog wheel (5) moved out of engagement with the rack (3) via an electromagnet (8). Pref. the electric drive motor (4) is attached to a pivoted carrier (6) which is coupled to the armature (7) of the electromagnet (8) to allow the drive to be engaged and disengaged. ADVANTAGE - Allows alternatea manual shutter adjustment.
