PURPOSE:To prevent print data from being mixed continuously by the correction of only an on-line program by issuing a close instruction a specified time after the on-line program completes the output of print data to the printer, and resetting the occupation state of the printer. CONSTITUTION:The open instruction generating means 51 of the on-line program 5 generates an open instruction for occupying the printer 3 at the time of the output of the head block of the print data. Further, the close instruction generating means 52 sends the close instruction for resetting the occupation state of the printer 3 the constant time after the output of the final block of the print data to the printer is complete. Consequently, when the same printer 3 is shared by programs including the on-line program, print data by another program is prevented from being mixed between documents to be printed continuously. |
