PURPOSE:To reduce crosstalk as well as to prevent noise by providing a shield plate composed of a three layer structure having a conductive plate and dielectric members laminated on both surfaces thereof, which is interposed between terminals of contacts and is connected to a metal shell. CONSTITUTION:A shield plate 6 is composed of a three layer structure having a conductive plate 61 made of cupper alloy which is bent for matching to the bent form of a contact terminal 12, for example, into a L-shape, and dielectric members 62 of a specified thickness made of ferroelectric material such as balium titanate stuck or bonded on both surfaces thereof. The shield plate 6 is inserted between the terminals 12 of plural contacts 1 planted on an insulator 3. On the side surface of the end of the conductive plate 61 abutted on the insulator 3, there is provided a tongue-like contact piece 61a electrically connected to both side surfaces of a back surface shell 22 made of metal. Both ends of the shield plate 6 is inserted between the contacts through positioning grooves 31, 32 formed between the insulator 3 and a terminal arrangement member 4, which causes the conductive plate to be connected to the earth potential and therefore it is possible to increase the capacity between the contact and the conductive plate. |
