A bag (10) of sheet plastics material includes an adhesive strip (13) provided for guiding a tear along a predetermined path during tearing of the bag for the removal of a portion of the bag. The strip also prevents migration of the tear beyond the predetermined path. Said adhesive strip may support a re-close tab or may itself be used to reclose the bag opening. |
