PURPOSE:To start a batch job interactively on an initial display menu picture by displaying the initial display menu picture determined as usable one by users at the start of the batch job and enabling a user to input information interactively according to the initial display menu picture, select execution environment, and start the batch job. CONSTITUTION:A display and keyboard device 2, a table 3 for controlling operation environment, and the job execution environment 4 are connected to a menu display/job start part 1 to perform menu display and job start processing. When the menu display/job start part 1 operates, the initial display menu picture by users is determined first to determine a menu picture to be displayed by the users. The user selects and inputs a batch job to be started, a slave menu to be called, or a process to be called on a display keyboard device 2 according to the display or presses the function key corresponding to the slave menu to be called. Consequently, the user easily starts the permitted batch job. |
