PURPOSE: To connect two pieces of device for pointing on a screen by enabling input/output for mouse type device to be connected to a joystick type pointer device as well, and providing one side, at least, with an ID circuit. CONSTITUTION: A means 13 which has the input to which the mouse type or the joystick type device can be connected as occasion demands and is for recognizing automatically the type of the device connected to this input is provided. One of these devices, at least, has a circuit for ID, and this ID circuit 13 is connected preferably between the input of a computer and the output of a controlling device. Thus, the controlling device to which the ID circuit 13 is to be connected need not be manufactured specially, but the controlling device of ordinary type can be used. |
