PURPOSE:To enhance the cycle characteristic by adding polyvinyl-pyrolidone in a specified degree of polymerization to a Cd negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:Polyvinyl-pyrolidone in a specified degree of polymerization is added to a Cd negative electrode. The degree of polymerization shall range between 350 and 1000. This suppresses deactivation of Cd active substance because of accumulation of undischarged metal Cd to lead, thereby enhancing the cycle characteristic. |
